Sign up for swimming at the Rec Centre or the Town Office. Must have a signed consent form and children under 7 years must be accompanied by someone over the age of 16 years.
Summer Kids Camp - Various programs are offered during the summer. For details and registration, phone the Rec Centre.
Aside from the Recreation Centre, there are also a number of community playgrounds for the children. They are distributed throughout town in easily accessible areas and contain a number of activities for children of all ages. All of the playgrounds, as well as a number of streets and other community areas, have been named in memory of past residents who contributed to Faro.
