Triplex For Sale (Tax Recovery)
The Town of Faro is offering for sale a triplex residential Townhouse unit with civic addresses of #35, #37, #39 Hoole Street (Legal Description of Lot 127, Plan 34351).
These units each have three bedrooms with a total estimated floor space of about 1,400 sqft per unit.
This property sale is as a result of tax recovery, and Council will entertain proposals for purchase of this Townhouse “As Is” and “First Come, First Served”. None of the three units are currently habitable and all units require various degrees of restoration before any unit can be issued an Occupancy Permit.
YG Property Assessment has assigned the following values on the property:
- Land Value $ 5,400
- Improvements Value $114,630
- Total Assessed Value $120,030
The Town of Faro is soliciting offers on this property for Council’s consideration. The property is being offered as a single offering, and the Town is not prepared to offer the triplex units for sale separately.
Council will evaluate any offer based on the following criteria:
- Purchase Price offered;
- Proposed timeline for restoration of all three units;
- Capacity of the purchaser to complete restoration as proposed; and
- Whether the purchaser has any outstanding debts with the Town.
